Standing alone in a private garden, this stone proudly displays ancient carvings.

This is a cylindrical menir, with the top broken. It is decorated with vertical bands of carved waving lines. (Serpentiform?)
The menir was re-erected on the site where it was found by the landowner1.
Location
The menir is in the Algarve, district of Faro. It’s in the municipality of Lagos, near the western entrance to the town of Odiáxere. It’s located on private land, in the Quinta do Menir.
Access
The menir is in the garden of a private residence. You should ask permission to enter.
Signage
There are no signs in the town to indicate the menir. There is an information sign posted beside the menir.
